Coming from Arlington, TX, Dr. Giang Nguyen developed a fascination for dentistry early on, drawn to the blend of science, precision, and personal connection. While in dental school, he met Dr. Patel, and together they envisioned a modern dental practice where every patient feels valued and cared for like family. That vision became Elevate Dentistry – a place where comfort, trust, and top-tier care go hand in hand.<\/span><\/p>

Dr. Nguyen earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and is currently advancing his expertise by working toward a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Passionate about mentorship, he welcomes pre-dental students and new graduates to shadow him as they navigate their own careers. His clinical skills include implant dentistry, surgical extractions, sinus lifts, overdentures, and guided bone regeneration, all aimed at improving patient care and long-term outcomes.<\/span><\/p>

Outside the office, Dr. Nguyen prioritizes quality time with friends and family, cherishing moments of connection and shared experiences. A dedicated traveler, he loves exploring new places, trying local cuisines, and immersing himself in different cultures. Staying active is also a priority, and he maintains a fitness routine to stay sharp. Dr. Veral Patel\u2019s journey into dentistry wasn\u2019t conventional. He originally went down a path in psychiatry. He soon realized his passion lay in a more hands-on field, and dentistry entered the picture. While in dental school, he met Dr. Nguyen, and together they laid the foundation for Elevate Dentistry, a practice built on trust, authenticity, and patient-focused care.<\/span><\/p>

Dr. Patel holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Connecticut and later completed a Master\u2019s Degree in Biological Studies at Tufts University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Always committed to growth, he is working toward a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), an achievement held by only a small percentage of dentists. His clinical expertise spans Invisalign, endodontics, dental implants, periodontal treatments, and cosmetic dentistry, ensuring his patients receive comprehensive, high-quality care.<\/span><\/p>

A native of the Northeast, Dr. Patel enjoys unwinding with family and friends, finding fulfillment in good company. A creative at heart, he expresses his craftsmanship through woodworking and metalworking, which mirror his skills and the precision of dentistry. Cooking is another passion, and he loves preparing meals from scratch to enjoy with loved ones. Born and raised in Houston, TX, Dr. Duc Lam always knew he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. His interest in surgery and patient care led him to specialize in oral and maxillofacial surgery, where he combines technical expertise with a compassionate approach to treatment.<\/span><\/p>

Education & Expertise<\/b><\/h5>

Dr. Lam earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, followed by a Medical Doctorate from McGovern Medical School. His intensive surgical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center and anesthesia training at Ben Taub General Hospital prepared him to handle complex oral and maxillofacial procedures. Board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he specializes in navigation-guided dental implant surgery, wisdom teeth removal, maxillofacial trauma, Botox, and oral pathology. In addition to private practice, he serves as an adjunct associate professor at UT School of Dentistry and provides care at the Healthcare for the Homeless clinic in Houston.<\/span><\/p>

Outside The Office<\/b><\/h5>

Dr. Lam enjoys spending time with his wife and family, often engaging in competitive pickleball matches with his three brothers. He holds a black belt in Taekwondo and trains in Wushu Kung Fu, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, Muay Thai, and Krav Maga. His love for travel and photography takes him around the world, capturing landscapes and cultural experiences. He also serves as a ringside physician for USA Boxing, supporting amateur and professional fighters. You can also find him carving through the slopes on his snowboard. Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Dr. Lam embraces his heritage and enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. Nguyen is a Board-Certified Periodontist with extensive training in advanced surgical techniques. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, followed by a Certificate and Master\u2019s in Periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. His expertise includes laser-assisted periodontal therapy (LANAP), Pinhole Surgical Technique for gum recession, and guided implant placement. He is also highly skilled in treating infected implants, extractions, bone grafts, sinus lifts, biopsies, crown lengthening, TMJ therapy, and Botox treatments.<\/span><\/p>

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Nguyen lives an active and adventurous life. Whether hiking scenic trails, traveling to breathtaking destinations, or trying out new cuisines, he loves exploring the world around him. At home, he enjoys sharing moments with family and friends\u2014and, of course, showing off pictures of his beloved dog, Luna.
